Connecting communities through

authentic storytelling

I’m Kerrie Lush, a journalist, broadcaster, communications specialist and podcast producer with more than 25 years’ experience in regional media and agricultural communications.

I started my career in rural journalism with the Stock Journal before moving into radio, including more than two decades with ABC Rural and regional radio across South Australia and Victoria. Today, I bring that experience to The Podcast Station.

I work with agricultural and regional organisations, community groups, schools and individuals across Australia, providing podcast production, industry communications, audio storytelling, interviewing, mentoring and workshops.

My work ranges from industry podcasts and communications to oral histories and audio memoirs, with a focus on clear, engaging communication and good storytelling.

Best Kept Stories

Preserving voices for generations to come

Best Kept Stories is a personalised audio memoir service capturing the stories, memories and experiences of individuals and families.

Through professionally recorded, guided interviews, I help people tell their stories in their own words, creating an audio record that can be shared with family and kept for generations.

It might be the story of a life, a family, a business or a particular chapter worth remembering.

Podcast Production and Audio storytelling

I produce podcasts and audio projects for agricultural, regional and community organisations, managing the process from initial planning and interviews through to recording, editing and publishing.

Projects range from ongoing industry podcasts to short series and oral history projects. I can host and interview, work with your own presenter, or provide production support behind the scenes.

Industry communications

I provide practical communications support for agricultural and regional organisations, drawing on my background in journalism and extensive experience working with industry.

This includes newsletters, media releases, web content, grower and stakeholder communications, interviews and other content tailored to the needs of your organisation and audience.

podcast mentoring and workshops

I offer one-on-one podcast mentoring and practical workshops for individuals, community organisations, industry groups and schools.

Sessions can be tailored to your needs, covering everything from developing an idea and planning content to interviewing, recording, equipment, editing and publishing.

Riverland Women is my own podcast and a reflection of my approach to storytelling.

It features long-form interviews with women from across the Riverland and demonstrates the style of podcast production and audio storytelling I bring to client projects.
